It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Blake Matthews of Lakefield, Ontario, born in Youngs Point, Ontario, who passed away on January 14, 2022, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his son Richard Matthews; and his brother Donald Matthews. He is survived by: his children, Philip Matthews (Barbara), Roland Matthews (Janice), Daniel Matthews (Jan), Kathleen Herr (Robert) and Theodore Matthews (Janet); his sister Meralyn Chappelle; and his wife Donna (Weber). He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
