He was predeceased by: his parents, William Wren and Marion Wren; and his siblings, Gloria, Ted and Shirley.

He is survived by: his wife Ginny Wren (Virginia); his children, Billy Wren (Kim), Rick Wren (Gerda), Karrie Mercier (Pierre) and Bob Wren (Julia); his grandchildren, Tyler Wren, Jocelyn Wren, Logan Mercier and Sarah Mercier; his great grandchild Dominic; and his siblings, Betty Lamontagne (Gates) and Mark Wren.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Grand River Hospital Foundation - Cancer Centre, Lisaard & Innisfree Hospice or KW Humane Society would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
