He was predeceased by: his wife Sandra (Clunie). He is survived by: his sons, Gary, Tom (Mona), James (Kathy) and Adam; his siblings, Shirley (Peter McGourlay) and Ginny (Duncan Scott); and his siblings-in-law, Janice, Nannette, Frances, Gordon, Brian and Ivan. He is also survived by his grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Grand River Hospital Foundation - Palliative Care Unit would be appreciated (cards available at the funeral home).
