She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband José Ernesto Merino; her children, Nestor, Nefi, Hyrum, Samuel and Iris; her stepsons, José Enrique and Juan Antonio; her grandchildren, Spencer, Teodula, Ava, Eliana, Isabella, Katja, Alexander, James, Emely and Samuel; her parents, Francisco Ayala and Dolores Aguilar; and her siblings, Milagros, Francisco, Dolores, Adolfo, Javier, Jaime, Jermesy, Susana and Lilian.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Henry Walser Funeral Home Ltd. (507 Frederick St, Kitchener, ON N2B2A5). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:15 PM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter -Day Saints (10 Lorraine Ave, Kitchener, ON N2B2M8). A burial will be held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 1:45 PM to 2:15 PM at the Williamsburg Cemetery (1541 Fischer-Hallman Rd, Kitchener, ON N2R1P6).
