She was predeceased by: her brother-in-law Paul Cairns (Vicki); her parents, John Gerrard and Gertrude Gerrard; and her siblings-in-law, Betty, Gerry, Charlie and Evelyn Cairns.
She is survived by: her husband Robert Cairns; her children, Michele Dressel (Mark) and Robert Cairns (Christina); her grandchildren, Mark Cairns, Janai Eckhardt (Nic), Morisa Cairns and Aleah Dressel; her great grandchildren, Porter and Bo Eckhardt; her sister Patricia Neath (Rodger); her nieces, Jennifer (Jacob Baker) and Cathy (Dan Straat); her great-nieces and great-nephews, Sydney, Avery and Jake; her close friend Flora Lortie; her children, Sheri Foster (Brian) and Fred Lortie; her aunts, Teresa Lynch and Gladys Lynch; and her sister-in-law Caroline Cairns. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
