She was predeceased by: her husband James Apperson; and her parents, Edward McAllister and Elizabeth McAllister. She is survived by: her children, Douglas (Shirley), Stephen, Carol (George) and Fiona (John); her grandchildren, Sarah (Sam), Bryan (Brittany), Emily (David), Caleb, Murphy (Brodi), Kelty, Mattie, Gavin, Jamie (Roxanne), Karen (Jody), Andrew and Alana (Craig); and her siblings, Elizabeth Neil (Jim) and Marion Allen (late Don).
