It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ruby Ethline Cowan (Kitchener, Ontario), who passed away on January 10, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Rose and Beryl Rose; and her sisters, Essie Del Azan (Rabbeah), Minnette Rose and Effie McBeigh (William).
She is survived by: her husband Rev. Neville Cowan; her children, Duane (Carol), Reece (Jennifer), Robert Damien and Shelley-Ann Cowan; her grandchildren, Jumaani (Mady), Benjamin, Kaitlyn and Jason; and her siblings, Hilma McConnell (late Jim) and Yvonne Althea O'Shields (late Dennis). She is also survived by siblings and Ruby's many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Monday, January 20th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Stanley Park Baptist Church (31 Lorraine Ave, Kitchener, ON N2B2M9).
