She was predeceased by: her parents, Emerson Roy Barber and Nellie Helen Barber; her daughter Carol Marie; and her siblings, Bill Barber (Betty), Jim Barber (Queenie), Ruth McConnell (Alex), Pat Divine (Charles), Elsie Irwin (Norman) and Leda Smitjes (Ben).
She is survived by: her children, Jim (Jean) of Thorndale, Terry (Vicki) of St. Marys, Cheryl of Guelph and Kym Pitvor (Mike) of Alberta; and her grandchildren, Lyndsey, Scott, Jennifer, Amanda, Matthew, Brandi, Samantha and Jackie. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
