He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert "George" Pike and Fannie Pike; and his sister-in-law Judy of Ontario. He is survived by: his wife Muriel Pike; his siblings, George (Nancy) of Nova Scotia, Ted of New Brunswick, Tim (Diane) of Ontario, Beth, Pansey (Bernard) of Ontario, Dolores "Lori" (Gary) of Newfoundland and Doreen (Allan) of Nova Scotia; and his stepchildren, Carol (John) of Ontario, Lisa (Jeff) of New Brunswick, Allan (Vicky) of Nova Scotia and Fintan (Melanie) of Ontario. He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews and his many other extended relatives and friends.
