She was predeceased by : her parents, Hipolito Fernandes and Josefa Fernandes; and her siblings, Gerald, Joseph and Antonette Fernandes.

She is survived by : her husband Francis; her children, Ozias (Trisha) and Beulah (Todd); her granddaughters, Veronica and Adele; her siblings, Martha (Patrick) and Thomas (Lumen); and her family Goa. She is also survived by her many nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, June 25th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Henry Walser Funeral Home Ltd. (507 Frederick St, Kitchener, ON N2B2A5). A prayer was held on Tuesday, June 25th 2024 at 7:30 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, June 26th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church (49 Blueridge Ave, Kitchener, ON N2M4E2).
