He was predeceased by: his siblings, Ivan, Jerry and Ken. He is survived by: his wife Sharon; his children, Tommy Johnson, Jamie Johnson (Denise), Kathy Jamieson (Damond) and Mark Johnson; his grandchildren, Brandon (Katie), Josh (Steffie), Dylan (Hannah) and Courtney (Spencer); his great grandchildren, Maeve, Lola, Hendrik and Pierce; and his sibling Marg Dodds (Terry).

As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Lung Health Foundation-COPD, MS Canada- Grand River Chapter or the Canadian Cancer Society- Waterloo Chapter would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
