He is survived by: his wife Debbie; his children, Jason Hofmeister (Katie) and Michelle Mitchell (James); his grandchildren, AJ, Carter, Austin, Mackenzie, Charlotte and Payton; and his sibling Brigette Wermke (Karsten) of Germany.
