With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Mary Ann Sellner (Kitchener, Ontario), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 22, 2025 at the age of 89. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Mary Ann Sellner to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her spouse Reg Sellner; her parents, John Pittner and Bernice Pittner; and her siblings, Joe Pittner, Genevieve Psutka, Nellie Martin, Rita Humphreys, Helen Wiechers and Bernice Doerfler.
She is survived by: her daughters, Joanne (Al), Paula (Colin) and Sara (Shannan); her grandchildren, Daphne and Evan; her sister-in-law Jenny Doherty of Arizona; and her caregivers, Karen and Mary. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, May 1st 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Henry Walser Funeral Home Ltd. (507 Frederick St, Kitchener, ON N2B2A5). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, May 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Francis of Assisi RC Church (49 Blueridge Ave, Kitchener, ON N2M4E2). A reception was held on Friday, May 2nd 2025 from 12:15 PM to 1:30 PM at the St. Francis of Asissi RC Church (49 Blueridge Ave, Kitchener, ON N2M4E2). A burial was held on Friday, May 2nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Parkview Cemetery (335 University Ave E, Waterloo, ON N2K4P4).
