He was predeceased by: his wife Rosa Lagonia (Nee Levato); his parents, Carmine Lagonia and Maria Lagonia; his siblings, Anna Levato (late Joe), Ofelia Vinante (late Italo) and Giovanni Lagonia; his parents-in-law, Tomasino and Michelina Levato; and his siblings-in-law, Teresa Zangari (Nick) and Tony Levato.

He is survived by: his children, Carman Lagonia (Moni), Mary Jakiela (George), Michelle Turnbull (Malcolm) and Silvana Murakami (Nelson); his grandchildren, Ben (Kerri), Alyssa, Kevin (Nicole), Steven (Remington), Nolan, Adam, Tom, Eddie, Matthew and Bis-Nonno; his great grandchildren, Charlotte and Penelope; his siblings, Victor (Ida), Antonio (Fiorella), Andrea (Maria) and Luigi (Marinella); and his siblings-in-law, Gina Levato, Roswitha Lagonia, Maria Mastrogiovanni (late Pino) and Ninni Cimino (Jeso).
