With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Maria Kasumovic (Kitchener, Ontario), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Maria left this world on September 9, 2024, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her sister Ana Culumovic; and her brothers-in-law, Ivan Simatovic and Martin Kasumovic. She is survived by: her husband Marko Kasumovic; her daughters, Ana Friesen and Martina MacKenzie (Greg); and her siblings-in-law, Petar Culumovic, Ivan Kasumovic (Ana), Ana Simatovic and Maria Kasumovic. She is also survived by her numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 13th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Henry Walser Funeral Home Ltd. (507 Frederick St, Kitchener, ON N2B2A5). A vigil service was held on Friday, September 13th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 14th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Holy Family Croatian Roman Catholic Parish (180 Schweitzer St, Kitchener, ON N2K2R5).
