With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Maria Albertina Alves (Kitchener, Ontario), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 10, 2024 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Maria leaves behind and her impact on the lives of her loved ones. Though Maria may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jose Alves and Custodia Alves; and her brother Pedro Alves (Manuela).
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 15th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Henry Walser Funeral Home Ltd. (507 Frederick St, Kitchener, ON N2B2A5). A burial was held on Sunday, September 15th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Princeton Cemetery (297 Oxford 2, Princeton, ON N0J1V0).
She lived in both Ontario and British Columbia spending many years working with numerous organizations and donating her time and money to many valuable charitable causes.
