As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Lucille may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Hayben B. Francis and Daphne Romain; and her husband Henderson Gaskin. She is survived by: her daughter Sylvia Gaskin; and her sisters, Newman Francis (Bernard Bruno), Rose Francis and Fitzroy Francis. She is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces, godchildren, cousins, and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Henry Walser Funeral Home Ltd. (507 Frederick St, Kitchener, ON N2B2A5). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Blessed Sacrament (305 Laurentian Dr, Kitchener, ON N2E2N6). A reception will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Glencarin Church (725 Erinbrook Dr, Kitchener, ON N2E2P8). A burial will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at the Woodland Cemetery (119 Arlington Blvd, Kitchener, ON N2A2G8).
