He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Rotar and Olympia Carling; his parents-in-law, Don and Jean Marchuk; his brother-in-law Kevin Marchuk; and his stepsiblings, John and Jeanette.
He is survived by: his spouse Val; his children, Karen (Mike), Kelly, Kristi (Mike), Ryan and Blake (Ashley); his grandchildren, Shawn (Megan), Luke (Caileigh), Tori, Gage, Brielle, Brinley, Kayla, Jonathon, Tyler, Madden, Finley and Paisley; his sister Nancy (Keith); and his siblings-in-law, Sheila, Cathy (Walt) and Kim.
In lieu of flowers and in celebration of Lorne's memory, contributions to the KW Food bank to feed those in need would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
