He was predeceased by: his wife Ursula "Uschi"; his child Sabine; his grandchildren, Ellie and Emily; his sibling Dr. Zig Tukums; his parents, Janis Tukums and Edith Ehrglis; and his son Leo Jr. (Kristen).
He is survived by: his nieces and nephews, Ralph (Sue), Karin (Brad), Kai (Joanna) and John (Tiffany); and his friend Ursula.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the Westmount Memorial Celebration Centre (1001 Ottawa St S, Kitchener, ON N2E2X5). A memorial service will be held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Sunbeam Community & Developmental Services (2749 Kingsway Dr., Kitchener, ON N2C 2J8) would be greatly appreciated.
