He was predeceased by: his sisters, Arlene Horst (Dennis) and Helen Pfeiffer (Harold); and his parents, John Hurst and Margaret Hurst. He is survived by: his wife Stella Hurst; his daughters, Linda Gibson (Graham), Debbie Carter (Andrew) and Renée MacDonald (Mark); and his grandsons, David (Rylee) and Matt (Tianna). He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.
