She was predeceased by: her parents, Neils Akerlund and Gertrude Akerlund. She is survived by: her husband Len Thurnell; her children, Krista Dobson (Graham) and Rick Stemmler (Sandra Sousa); her brother Rick Akerlund (Donna); her niece Jessica; her nephew Lee; and her cousins, Dale and Graham.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:45 PM at the Henry Walser Funeral Home Ltd. (507 Frederick St, Kitchener, ON N2B2A5). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
