Josef Groh Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Josef Groh (Kitchener, Ontario), who passed away on April 10, 2025 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Elisabeth Groh; and his siblings, Lorenz, Katharina Huber of Germany, Anna Stutz of Germany and Elisabeth Turner of Germany.
He is survived by: his children, Joe Groh (Shireen), Monica Laws, Peter Groh (Suzanne) and Sylvia Groh (Russel).
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, April 17th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:15 AM at the Henry Walser Funeral Home Ltd. (507 Frederick St, Kitchener, ON N2B2A5). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 17th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, April 17th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Woodland Cemetery (119 Arlington Blvd, Kitchener, ON N2A2G8).
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada (https://www.heartandstroke.ca) would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
