He was predeceased by: his parents, Anna Kurpel and William Kurpel; his former wife Rosetta Kurpel; and his siblings, Olga Pankiw, Peter Kurpel and Mary Yaremy.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Doyle; his children, Bill Kurpel (Lisa) and Kathleen Adamczyk (Bryan); his grandchildren, Alysia, Justin and Jessica; and his siblings, Stella Szpak, Helen Kress and Don Kurpel (Geri).
