He is survived by: his wife Marybeth Bernhardt; his son Brandon; his granddaughter Emily; his sister Ann Probst (Missouri) of St. Louis; and his sisters-in-law, Karen Brandon and Jenny Bernhardt. He is also survived by his nephews and nieces.
