Though Joanna may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Joanna touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her daughters, Sylvia Beda and Margaret Beda-Guayasamin (Miguel); her grandchildren, Sophia, Mateo and Liliana; and her parents, Tadeusz Wojtyna and Henryka Wojtyna.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to The Mark Preece Family House (https://markpreecehouse.ca) would be appreciated by the family in gratitude for allowing her daughters to be present with her while she was in hospital, or to Creekside Church where Joanna loved to attend (cards available at the funeral home).
