She is survived by: her friend Walter; her children, Edmund Ries (Joanne Holland), Rosemary Buck (Lavern Forwell) and Brian Ries (Nancy); her grandchildren, Michael Buck (Meghan), Mathew Buck (Stephanie), Kimberley Ries, Elizabeth Ries (Marty) and John Ries; her great grandchildren, Lawson, Ledger, Maxwell, Eliana and Kalista; her nephew Rob Pliskat (Anne); and her great-nephew Michael.
