He is survived by: his son Marius Toma of Romania; and his siblings, Silvian Toma (Lidia), Constantine Toma (Ani), Lidia Paunescu (Sandiu), Maria Balonescu (late Ghita), Delia Cornea (Ilia), Estera Bulzan (Sabin), Ana Stanciu (Joseph) and Elena Romaniuc (Nicolae). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
