With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Herbert Joseph Altman (Kitchener, Ontario), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 10, 2024 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Violet Stankiewicz; his children, Christine (Lana-Sarrate) and Stephen; his sister Margaret; and his parents, Joseph and Helen.
He is survived by: his son Michael; his daughter-in-law Rita; his granddaughter Jennifer; and his son-in-law Michael Lana-Sarrate.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Henry Walser Funeral Home Ltd. (507 Frederick St, Kitchener, ON N2B2A5). A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the St. Aloysius Catholic Church (11 Traynor Ave, Kitchener, ON N2C1W1). A burial was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 at 11:45 AM at the Woodland Cemetery (119 Arlington Blvd, Kitchener, ON N2A2G8).
