We are sad to announce that on January 14, 2025, at the age of 76, Helen Mary Bowman (Kitchener, Ontario) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Michael Bowman; her parents, Arthur DesRoches and Lucie DesRoches; her siblings, Arthur DesRoches and Ruby Szanyi; her brother-in-law Ross Bowman; and her daughter Michelle Bennett.
She is survived by: her sisters, Elsie Caverley (late Larry), Linda Winchester and Sheila Arsenault (Marcél); her sister-in-law Maryann Bowman; her daughters, Darlene Kane (Andrew) and Sherrie Brace (Blair); her grandchildren, Ashley Perry, Jessica Perry (Kevin), Brittany Sims (Dominic), Tyler Kane (Aysia), Kailey Bader (Eric), Taylor Bester, Cameron Brace and Ryan Brace; her great grandchildren, Mahayla Perry and Jayden Langdon; and her close friend Ken Brace.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Henry Walser Funeral Home Ltd. (507 Frederick St, Kitchener, ON N2B2A5). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 at the Woodland Cemetery (119 Arlington Blvd, Kitchener, ON N2A2G8).
