He was predeceased by: his parents, Adolph and Stephanie; and his brother Art. He is survived by: his sisters, Annamarie McCarter (Wayne), Monica Wielonda and Helen Mudie; his nieces and nephews, Stefanie, Sara, Stuart, Laura, Karen, Jessica, Alex, Craig and Angela; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Anna, Alex, Gillian and Nolan; his brother-in-law George Wielonda; his cousin Harry; and also Sophia.
