It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Grant Boyle Howitt (Kitchener, Ontario), who passed away on January 22, 2025, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his friend Charlotte Howitt; his parents, Edward Howitt and Eleanor Howitt; and his siblings, Helen (Henry), Evelyn (Bill), Phylis (Albert), James (Marilou) and Kenneth (Muriel).
He is survived by: his children, Michael (Jennifer), Gregory (Theresa), Jean (Laney) and David (Cindy); his grandchildren, Conor (Nikki), Cian (Eva), Timothy (Kristina), Christy, Sean (Kirstin), Courtney (Nathan), Riley (Brett), Erica (Matt) and Kara; and his great grandchildren, Wallace, Wesley, Finnegan, Hannah and Beckett.
Visitation will be held on Monday, January 27th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Henry Walser Funeral Home Ltd. (507 Frederick St, Kitchener, ON N2B2A5). A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Anne's R. C. Church (268 East Ave, Kitchener, ON N2H1Z4). A burial will be held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 at 11:45 AM at the Williamsburg Cemetery (1541 Fischer-Hallman Rd, Kitchener, ON N2R1P6).
