He was predeceased by: his wife Antonie Steingart (Toni); his daughters, Ursula and Gudrun (Mennonite Churches); and his siblings, Peter and Lena.
He is survived by: his sister Mika; his sons, Paul (Jackie), Konrad (Mary) and Orlando (Tammy); his son-in-law Raymond; and his grandchildren, Vanessa (Andrew), Joshua, Brian (Brianna), Heidi (Brent), Karley (Andrew), Olivia, Tyler (Baylee) and Rylie. He is also survived by 10 great grandchildren.
