He was predeceased by: his fathers, Charles Smith and Archibald MacDonald; his sister Gloria Lockridge (Douglas); his grandson Paul Jonah; and his brothers-in-law, Fred Stokes (Dorothy) and Don Stokes (Jane).
He is survived by: his wife Ruth Smith (Stokes); his children, Rick, Faye Smith of Kitchener Shari and Kevin Good of Wingham; his grandchildren, Jamie Good, Tanya, Bryce Toll, Danielle and Nick Campbell; his great grandchildren, Julie, Kylie Good, Avery, Sadie Toll, Lenyx and Korlee Campbell; and his aunt Marg.
