She was predeceased by: her husband Roger Higgins; her son Richard Higgins; her son-in-law John Funk; and her siblings, Audrey McLaughlin, Norm Arndt (Corrine) and Wilma Witmer.
She is survived by: her daughters, Cathy Swartz (Paul) and Karen Funk; her granddaughters, Diane Kelly (Brendan), Cheryl Valkenburg (Albert), Sarah Funk (Bryan Potter) and Julie Funk (Matt Frazer); her great grandchildren, Emma, Josh, Charlotte, Joel, Grace and Liam; and her sister Lorna Arndt.
