He was predeceased by: his parents, Philip Vogel and Olga Wirth; and his siblings, Willie Vogel, Hedwigh Paech and Lydia Meier.
He is survived by: his wife Wilhelmine Vogel (Huber); his brother John Vogel; his children, Ingrid Meyer (late Charlie), Philip Vogel (Shelley) and Dan Vogel (Heather); and his grandchildren, Amy McDonald (Jason), Derek Meyer, Nathan Vogel (Jessica), Stacey Kuntz (Tim), Nicholas Meyer, Nicole Thorley (Simon) and Tim Vogel (Lisa).
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Alzheimer Society of Waterloo Wellington or the Lung Health Foundation - COPD would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
