With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Fernando De Melo Leite (Kitchener, Ontario), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 6, 2024 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his siblings, Adelaide (late Herman), Jose and Isaura; and his in-laws, Isabelle (late Francisco) and Carlos (Zelia).
He is survived by: his wife Maria; his children, Lucy LeBlanc (John), Gabriel (Melinda) and Michael (Amanda); his grandchildren, Jessica, Jacob, Shentel, Olivia and Aiden; his brother Gabriel (Phyllis); and his siblings-in-law, Emmanuel (Urania), Jose (Concicão) and Eduarda (late Dimas). He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and close friends.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Lisaard and Innisfree Hospice or the Grand River Hospital Foundation-Cancer Centre would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
