It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Fay Lillian Mewhiney (Kitchener, Ontario), who passed away on April 14, 2025, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her former husband Jack Mewhiney; her husband Jack Alexander; her brother Ron Bryant; and her parents, George Bryant and Evelyn Bryant.
She is survived by: her children, Maureen Schmid (Eric), Valerie Doyle (late Mike), Greg Mewhiney (Allison) and Shannon Schwartz (Jeff); her grandchildren, Alexa, Rhea, Kaitlin, Ryan, Lindsay, Brooklynn, William, Jackson, Emma and Matty; her great grandchildren, Killian, Ciaran, Georgia, Scarlett, Maddox, Everett and Evelyn; her siblings, Ernie Bryant (Hazel) and Arllen Janke (Don); and her stepsons, John Alexander (Teri) and David Alexander (Sharon).
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses (355 Gage Ave, Kitchener, ON N2M5E1).
