She was predeceased by: her parents, Johann Herzig and Maria Herzig; her siblings, Maria, Josef and Michael; her former husband John Engel; and her friend Frieda Szabo.
She is survived by: her son Walter Engel (Veronica); her nephew Joe Herzig (Kathy) of Ayr; her sister-in-law Lori Herczig; her nephew Heinz of Germany; and her friends, Mike and Chris Chapman.
