Edith Maria Herold Obituary
We are sad to announce that on December 19, 2022, at the age of 94, Edith Maria Herold (Kitchener, Ontario) passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Edith Maria Herold to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her daughter Bernadette Herold-Stienstra; her parents, Alois and Elizabeth; and her siblings, Franz Thaler, Maria Goetz (Ria) and Josefine Pohl (Fini).
She is survived by: her husband Helmuth; her children, Richard Herold (Josephine), Amanda Herold (David Clegg) and Stephanie Herold Pomedli (Stephen); her great grandchild Jay Herold Pomedli; her son-in-law Brian; her grandsons, James and Robert Stienstra; and her nieces and nephews, Theresa, Bill and Thomas Goetz.
Special gratitude is offered to Edith's PSW's Rhea and Valery who supported Edith in her beloved home morning and night in the dark years of the pandemic, right up to her final hospital admission.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Parkinson Society of Southwestern Ontario would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
