He is survived by: his wife Marion; his children, Angela and Scott; his grandchildren, Alasdair Murie-Wilde and Lilith Murie-Wilde; his brother Jim Murie; his nieces, Sandra Lees, Hazel Mills, Julie McNee and Jackie Beitz; and his nephew Douglas Murie.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a donation to the Alzheimer Society.
