Sparkes (Kitchener, Ontario), born in Clarenville, Newfoundland, who passed away on June 7, 2023, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Sparkes and Anne Sparkes; his parents-in-law, Wilson and Princie Stanley; his brother Gerald (Bessie); his sisters-in-law, Marie Butler (Pat) and Karen Strong; and his stepsister Marion Talbot.
He is survived by: his wife Lillian (Stanley); his children, Ralph (Heidi), Bradley (Sarah) and Susan (Charlie Edmeades); his grandchildren, Alexa (Mitchell), Ethan (Morgan), Madeline (Michael), Ryan (Natalie), Sullivan (Emma), Jack and Hannah; his great grandchild Lachlan Edmeades; his siblings, Doreen O'Rourke (Leo), Sylvia Vincent (Pearce), Lance (Donna), Tony (Debbie), Ken (Gwen) and Lorna (Mounah); his siblings-in-law, Bob Stanley (Mildred), Daphne Loveys, Don Stanley (Norma), Rudy Stanley (Janice) and Tim Stanley (Cindy); and his pet Sid. He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews.
