He was predeceased by: his parents, George Runstedler and Mary Runstedler; his nephew Todd Schagena; and his great-nephew Jordan Runstedler. He is survived by: his siblings, Fern Schagena (Doug) of Cargill, Joe Runstedler of Kitchener, Wendy Longworth (Milton) of Kitchener and George Runstedler (Gina) of Kitchener; his nieces and nephews, Tara Schagena, Joe Runstedler Jr., Christine Belsky (David), Milton Longworth Jr. and Spenser Longworth; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Michael, Ashleigh and Chelsea Schagena.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home (171 King St S, Waterloo, ON N2J1P7). A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. John's RC Church (85 Strange St, Kitchener, ON N2G1R4). A burial was held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Parkview Cemetery (335 University Ave E, Waterloo, ON N2K3M7). A reception was held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 from 12:30 PM to 3:00 PM at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home (171 King St S, Waterloo, ON N2J1P7).
