He is survived by: his wife Helen Franklin; his children, Michael Bender (Noella), Debbie Gresko (Mark), Laurie Goertz (George) and Steven Bender (Kathy); his sister Darlene Joseph (Bob); and his sister-in-law Susan Franklin. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
