He was predeceased by: his wife Bernice Herbert. He is survived by: his children, Emerald Pemberton, Janice Muzine (Lenyn), Desmond Claxton, Raymond Herbert, Yvette Bassett (Larry) and Jacinth Herbert; and his grandchildren, Sheldon Herbert, Malcolm Bassett, David Pemberton, Xavier Pemberton, Emery Pemberton, Raja Pemberton, Deon Herbert, Jamila Herbert, Euen Herbert-Small, Jamalje Muzine, Desron Claxton, Desmone Gambrell-Claxton, Julian Rae, Derian Manville, Jay Northcott, Justine Steinhauer and Shemar Herbert. He is also survived by seventeen great-grandchildren.
