He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Steffler and Shirley Steffler; his brothers, Dale and Dennis Steffler; and his siblings-in-law, Charles Yantz Jr., Marie Yantz and Jerome Yantz.
He is survived by: his wife Margaret "Margie"; his daughters, Tania Kavcic (Jason) and Marguerite Mann (Ryan); his grandchildren, Michaela Kavcic, Owen and Evan Mann; his siblings, Ron Steffler (Debbie), Larry Steffler (late Lynda), Barry Steffler (Brenda) and Cindy Schutt (Daryel); and his siblings-in-law, Vi Steffler, Rhea Steffler, Harold Yantz (Peg), Ken Yantz (Donna), Rick Yantz (late Ruth), Don Yantz (Judy), Trish Snoddon (late Doug Furlong) and Sandy Miller (late Ron). He is also survived by Uncle.
