He was predeceased by: his father John; his mother-in-law Theresa Gutoskie; and his siblings-in-law, Paul Hodge, Marylin Voison (Bob) and Donna Gutoskie.

He is survived by: his wife Karen; his children, Tony (Paul), Chris (Danielle) and Aiden; his mother Joyce; his siblings, Janet Banerjee, Sheila Simon-Hodge, John Simon (Joanne), Lee Wainwright (Mike) and Sal Simon; and his siblings-in-law, Imelda Schlupp (Andy), Harry Gutoskie and Linda Dudack (Dennis).

Donations may be made to a charity of choice in Dave's memory, but nothing would honour him more than an act of compassion or kindness to a stranger to make the world a better place, one act at time.
