He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin Schellenberger and Ellen Schellenberger; and his brother-in-law Glenn Haynes. He is survived by: his wife Pat (Pauli); his children, Stuart (Sara Wahl) of Waterloo, Scott (Sue Neville) of Pembroke and Bonnie Saunderson (Stewart) of Kitchener; his grandchildren, Joel, Grace Schellenberger, Emily, Laura Saunderson, Isaac, Leo and Sam Schellenberger; his sisters, Joan Wagner (Ron) of Elmira, Ruth Ann Gloor (Dan) of Mitchell, Mary Haynes of Stratford and Nancy Siemon (Jeff) of Waterdown; and his sister-in-law Mary Lou Gardner of Kitchener. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 25th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Henry Walser Funeral Home Ltd. (507 Frederick St, Kitchener, ON N2B2A5). A funeral service was held on Saturday, October 26th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Trillium Lutheran Church (22 Willow St, Waterloo, ON N2J1V5). A reception was held on Saturday, October 26th 2024 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
