It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Curtis Wayne Schafer of Kitchener, Ontario, born in Medicine Hat, Alberta, who passed away on March 22, 2024, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Barbara, Alexander Schafer, Margery and Cyril "Dude" Barton; and his parents-in-law, Gladys and Lawrence Just.
He is survived by: his wife Henrietta; his children, Justus and Samuel; his father Wilfred Wayne (Trudy Schafer); his sister Tracey; his brother-in-law Mark Just (Melony); his nieces and nephews, Shelby Joyner (Kentrell), Matthew and Maddox Just; his friends, Curtis and Hamilton; and also, Bugbee and Roggow.
During Covid he would spend the day working in his home office, have supper with the family, and then re-focus his energy to complete the Canadian Securities Course.
