She was predeceased by: her parents, Leona and Rodolphe; and her siblings, Gib, Bob and Lucy.
She is survived by: her husband Zoltan Varga; her children, Christine Romanick (Jerry), Teresa Myers (Chuck) and Tony Varga (Eva); her grandchildren, Michael Muszak (Angie), Teri Muszak (Dan McCabe), Julia Varga, Megan Goddard (Michael) and Ryan Varga (Tina); her great grandchildren, Abby, Zofia, Elinora and Finnian; and her friends, May McAllister, Mary McGill and Shirley Templeman. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated (cards available at the funeral home).
