He was predeceased by: his parents, Edmund Fergin and Alwine Fergin; his sister Elonia "Loni" Wendland; his brother-in-law Richard; his sister Sylvia Schmidt; and his brother-in-law Ottmar.
He is survived by: his spouse Jean; and his children, Eric (Tatiana Samila), Kevin (Christine) and Monica.
